Laura M. Brenner
A proven writer and storyteller with a record of creating compelling articles, stories, and content. My experience is rooted in business, non-profit, agriculture, sustainability, and food systems writing, with a special talent for storytelling and creating content packages that leave readers with a lasting impression.
She is gifted at translating complicated ideas into easy to understand language. Laura believes “if you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough.” Meaning she is dedicated to detailed research of a topic or brand as a means to create a high-quality finished product.
Laura started her career of helping farmers and consumers better communicate and understand each other. She carries forward the mission to connect people and ideas through meaningful storytelling in her professional work and passion projects.
Laura holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science and a Minor in Agronomy from Pennsylvania State University. She also earned a Masters of Science in Communications from Purdue University.
She is currently traveling in a 2003 Ford Econoline with Piper, a small in stature but not in personality hound-mutt. The duo endeavor to see all 50 states and gain first-hand experience on every type of crop and livestock farm and ranch in the lower 48 and Alaska. Read more about this adventure on the #Vanlife blog.
